Gardening can be strenuous, especially after a long winter inside. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Take it easy! Start out slow, and don’t overdo it. When moving heavy things, take advantage of a garden cart, or wheelbarrow if available.
Take frequent breaks, stretch, and avoid staying hunched in one position.
Don’t forget to drink your water! Time can slip away when you’re outside, and you can easily become dehydrated.
