It’s winter time! The season of skating, rosy cheeks, and hot chocolate. Also the season for snow, and all the shovelling that comes with it. While shovelling all the white stuff is something that we have to deal with, especially after our most recent “snowmageddon,” it’s important to do so as safely as possible. Injuries from shovelling happen to many people every winter, ranging in severity from simple muscle strains and sprains to broken bones.
Please note: If you are at risk for, or already have possible cardiac issues, please do not shovel snow without clearance from your doctor.
