Daylight Savings Time is upon us!
Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead by one hour this Sunday, March 14th.
This time change can be difficult for many people.
Here are some tips to help you adjust:
- Start Preparing Early! If possible, start moving your clocks ahead in small increments well before the day the time changes. This gives you the opportunity to adjust gradually.
- Keep your routine consistent. Do your best to wake up and go to bed at the same time every day.
- After the time change, you may be tired and in need of a nap. Try to limit naps to no longer than 20 minutes to avoid having trouble sleeping at night.
- Avoid consuming caffeine and alcohol between 4 – 6 hours before going to bed.
